Key Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for end-to-end software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing.
- The job requires creating user information solutions through the development, implementation, and maintenance of components and interfaces.
Other responsibilities:
- Working with CTO / Lead-Engineering on all software development matters
- Design, implement and maintain the applications that can be high-volume and low-latency. Contribute to all stages of software development lifecycle
- Analyze user requirements to define business objectives; Create detailed design documentation
- Envisioning system features and functionality
- Define application objectives and functionality
- Ensure application designs conform with business goals
- Develop and test software
- Identify and resolve any technical issues arising out of any situation
- Develop technical designs for application development
- Write well designed, testable code
- Conducting software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging
- Develop documentation to help users
- Prepare and produce releases of software components
- Support continuous improvement, investigating alternatives and technologies, and presenting for architectural review
Key skills requirement – Must to have:
- Sound knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Patterns and Concepts
- Familiarity with different design and architectural patterns
- Expertise in ROR (Ruby on Rails) with a good understanding of its ecosystems
- Experience with API frameworks and API integration
- Knowledge of Agile methodology and related tools like JIRA
- Ability to establish trusted partnerships with product heads, and executive level stakeholder
- Good communication skills
Key skills requirement – Good to have:
- Experience with UI technologies such as HTML, CSS and JQuery, Java script
- Experience with RDBMS – MySQL, Oracle, Postgres
- Experience with Unit & Integration testing frameworks like Junit, Mockito, Serenity, Jbehave
- Experience with CI/CD such as Jenkins and configuration management system like GitHub
- Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau.
